Discover the Art

 Our artists travelled out to South Africa to work with Umthombo, a local charity helping street children. They ran a t-shirt workshop on the theme: 'the Rights of the Child.

At the World Cup, each team made their national flag by by making hand-prints on fabric. Needless to say, this was a popular and somewhat chaotic activity.

The below image shows the children hard at work designing the hexagons for the art gallery.
